About Nicole

Nicole is a Clinical Psychologist with 25 years of experience working within private practice. Nicole obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wollongong, writing her thesis on the topic of Eating Disorders and Attachment Relationships.

Nicole has a particular interest in working with adult clients who experience eating disorders and who have an accompanying history of trauma or neurodivergence. Nicole has received extensive training and supervision in these areas and, where appropriate, Nicole incorporates attachment theory, schema therapy, cognitive and behavioural therapies, and EMDR, with a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach to mental healthcare.

Nicole is an endorsed Medicare Provider of Clinical Psychology services and an approved provider of services under the Veterans and Veterans’ Families Counselling Service (OpenArms). Nicole is also a Registered Circle of Security Parent Educator.

Dr Danielle Ciaglia

About Danielle

Danielle is a Clinical Psychologist who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and an endorsed Medicare Clinical Psychologist Provider. Danielle has over 20 years’ experience working with a range of mental health conditions. Danielle completed a Bachelor of Science (psychology) at the University of Wollongong in 2000, followed by 2 years of psychology internship training. She completed her Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) degree at the University of Wollongong in 2010 and obtained the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists Student Prize in 2009 for a high level of clinical skill and conducting clinically relevant research. Her research has been
presented at national conference and she has been involved in published research in areas of clinical interest. Overall, this has involved over 9 years of academic and clinical training, including advanced training in complex mental health conditions. Danielle is committed to engaging in ongoing, intensive professional training and supervision of her practice on a regular basis and feels passionate in doing so.

Danielle has a particular interest in working with individuals in the perinatal period. Danielle is a member of the Centre for Perinatal Psychology and is also a Registered Circle of Security Parent Educator. Areas of focus include: fertility concerns; grief of infant/pregnancy loss; support through assisted reproductive technologies; perinatal depression, anxiety, anger/rage; birth trauma; and attachment/bonding concerns. Danielle feels passionate about nurturing and supporting the parent and infant relationship and therefore advocates for infants and non-birthing parents to also be a part of therapy where possible.

Danielle also works with adults who would like to address: anxiety disorders; depression; eating disorders, disordered eating, body image dissatisfaction; attachment difficulties; adjustment difficulties and mild-moderate responses to trauma, grief/loss, and stress; and long-standing patterns of thinking/feeling/relating to self and others that may feel problematic to the individual. Danielle is an approved provider of services under the Open Arms Counselling Service.

Kellie is a Clinical Psychologist graduating with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wollongong. Kellie is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Kellie is experienced in the assessment and treatment of adults who experience a wide range of disorders. Kellie is experienced in the implementation of individual psychotherapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Kellie is an endorsed Medicare Provider of Clinical Psychology Services. Kellie is also an approved provider of services under the Veterans and Veterans’ Families Counselling Service (OpenArms).

Dr Jessica Gray

About Jessica

Jessica is a Clinical Psychologist who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is an endorsed Medicare Clinical Psychologist Provider, and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jessica completed her Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) degree at the University of Wollongong, conducting research on the role of empathy in medical care. Her research has been published and presented on national and international platforms. She is experienced in the clinical assessment and management of a wide range of psychological difficulties experienced by adults.

Jessica specialises in the psychological assessment and treatment of:

  • Perinatal mental health – including perinatal depression, perinatal anxiety, support for those in the pre-conception and conception stage, expecting and new parents, in addition to support for perinatal loss and birth trauma. Jessica has undertaken the Intensive Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Training through the Perinatal Training Centre and is also trained in the Circle of Security Parenting Program.
  • Eating disorders and body-related concerns – including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge-Eating Disorder, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and other patterns of disordered eating and negative body image. Jessica is also trained in an education-based group workshop for parents and partners of individuals experiencing an eating disorder.
  • Anxiety related disorders – including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Specific Phobia, Panic Disorder, and Health Anxiety.
  • Depression
  • Relationship difficulties (individual therapy)
  • Adjustment to physical/medical illness.

Jessica is experienced in implementing individual cognitive and behavioural psychotherapies (including Schema Cognitive Therapy; Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy; Dialectical Behavioural Therapy; and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and will work collaboratively with her clients to discuss the approach that will best suit their needs. She provides a warm, supportive, and empathetic environment for her clients to reach their therapeutic goals.

About Nicole

Nicole is a Clinical Psychologist, and has completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wollongong. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and Australian Clinical Psychology Association (MACPA). Nicole is a Medicare Clinical Psychologist Provider.

Nicole works with adults of all ages. She is experienced with a wide range of problems including difficulties adjusting to life events and loss, relationship issues (not couples therapy), mood and anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, trauma, and eating disorders.

Nicole is trained in a number of evidence-based therapies, working primarily from a schema therapy perspective and drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, which includes mindfulness strategies. Nicole enjoys providing short-term interventions, as well as developing longer-term therapeutic relationships with those who would benefit from a more thorough self-exploration. She works collaboratively with her clients, and will discuss with you the approach that is likely to best suit you and your needs.

Chantell Willis

About Chantell

Chantell is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, who is a member of Dietitians Australia and holds an ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential. Chantell has a passion for helping people explore, understand and improve their relationship with food and eating.

After graduating from the University of Wollongong in 2009 with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours Class I), Chantell worked as a generalist dietitian in the public hospital system before commencing work in the field of eating disorders in 2011. Realising the harmful impact of diet culture, she was an early adopter of the Health at Every Size (HAES)® Principles and the Non-Diet Approach in her practice.

Chantell seeks to honour the wisdom that each person brings from their lived experience with food, eating and their body and embraces a collaborative approach to her work. Chantell works in a trauma-informed, inclusive way and has a particular interest in helping to navigate the many and varied ways food, eating and body may be experienced in the context of neurodivergence.

Chantell works with adults and has experience in providing nutritional interventions for a vast array of eating disorders across many settings (specialist inpatient unit, day program, community health, private practice and preventative health) as well as chronic dieting, (sub-clinical) disordered eating patterns and nutritional needs in chronic illness. She has undertaken additional training in Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders and Schema Therapy for Eating Disorders as well as Counseling Skills for Dietitians. Chantell is eligible to provide dietetic services under the Medicare Eating Disorders Treatment and Management Plan and Chronic Disease Management Plan.
